Also, reminded that we had the Opera (La Traviata) on Saturday night. Few pictures taken.  Not bad – definitely had the feel of a larger undertaking, as the soprano really hit the notes and could project back to where we were sitting.  The balcony was nice, though crowded.

Adriano seemed to like it.  So did Erin – somewhat surprised at that, I think most people brought anew into something classical don’t have an appreciation for it, and what’s more what I expected to happen, I guess.

I should be looking a little happier, but it’s probably for the best – smiles are goofy.

If you don’t know which one I am… do I know you?

parisian sodomy is redundant

Paris is now in two weeks.  Got a book specifically on the Louvre, as, by the look of it, we’ll be there for a fricken’ day in and of itself.

I should know more, but I don’t.

Upgraded Wordpress to 2.5.  Strangely much snappier on first impressions.

Still can’t tell why network stuff seems slow – starting to think bottleneck may be my computer, as the load on the server is negligible; it doesn’t seem to sweat anything, really.  I’d like to graph it eventually just to see if it spikes, but never when I look.

I should probably make up something for the left roommate on what to do if I get an alert about one of the hard drives when I’m away.  Hm.

Dinner and opera (La Traviata) on the 19th, last season ticket play on the 21st, then to bed, early up and to the airport.

Butterflies are a-wingin’ their way twixt my ‘testines.

Nipples!

I seem to be getting a lot of comments with embedded links mentioning ‘nipples’ and ‘lesbians’. Obviously not knowing my history, these would seem to be the wrong target words to use.

Let’s see what search engines get drawn here after I actually include those terms in a post…

Think I’m going to try and convert to Wordpress here. It seems to be an easier system and more portable than Movable Type, where half of my problem with it is logging in and making an entry (hence the dearth of entries previous to this last month’s burst).

“How twisted we humans are, and yet they say a God made us; but I find it hard to conceive of any God who is not as simple as a perfect equation, as clear as air.”
- Graham Greene, “The End of the Affair”

Feel that raunchy atmosphere? That half-lit foreboding? The nausea? You only wish you were cool enough to roll wit’ us.
