Looking forward to Disney, almost. Starting to be real.

In case anyone who watches this (I don’t look – I probably should start watching…), I and my roommate booked a trip to Disney quite some time ago. We’re going in early May, so it’s earnestly creeping up on us.

I’ve been avoiding getting into it very much. It will be my first trip in a plane, more than an 8-hour drive away, which is about the maximum I’ve been since I was *5*. (and that was to Saskatchewan/Alberta border area).

Even applying for my passport and finally getting it didn’t engender any special attachment. Getting it verified by someone was the most interesting – I’d never seen where Bill worked before, and it’s some interesting stuff sometimes.

Now… in a week I’ll probably be poring over the documentation. Buying new (comfortable!) sandals. Looking at maps. Checking out restaurants.

I hope it’s not anticlimactic.
